Grammy Entertainment Co., Ltd. was established to lead the new era of Music and Television business in Thailand. Music business at the time emphasized on the production of quality Thai Pop songs. The first music album was "Ni Yai Ruk Jak Korn Mek" by Doctor Pantiwa Sinrattanan. The company also launched 3 TV programs : Yim Sai Kai, Mun Kwa Heaw and Sueng Tid Dao

1986
Grammy's super star, Thongchai McIntyre released his first album, "Had Sine Sai Lom Song Rao". Rock music was introduced by Amphon Lampoon and Micro through their "Rock Lek Lek"
1988
MGA Co.,Ltd. was established to manu facture and distribute various cassette tapes and other related entertainment products through its retail network.
1989
A-Time Media Co.,Ltd. was established to tap into Radio business. "Green Wave" and "Hot Wave" were the first 2 stations to hit the market.
1991
Exact Co.,Ltd. was set up to expand television program production business and started the award winning TV Series "Three Men, Three Styles" (Sam Noom Sam Moom). Within the same year, Extraorganizer Co.,Ltd. was founded to operate concert production business. Both allowed Grammy to root into a complete scale in entertainment empire.
1993
Initiation of copyright protection era.
1994
Grammy Entertainment Pcl. was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the featured film business saw its debut.
1996
Expansion into publishing business through the acquisition of Image magazine.
1997
Expansion into international market by tapping into Taiwan.
1999
Mifah, the international academy of music was introduced.
2000
E-Business unit was set up to create various products in the form of digital content to

2001
Company's name was changed from Grammy Entertainment Public Company Limited to GMM Grammy Public Company Limited (Grammy).
2002
GMM Media Public Company Limited (GMMM) was spun off to list on the Stock
Exchange of Thailand. Eight media, radio, television and publishing subsidiaries were
transferred from Grammy to GMMM.
2003
Strategic move in movie business with five quality movies produced, where "Fan Chan" is the all time box office record and "Beautiful Boxer" has gained u attention worldwide.
2004
Aimed to be "King of content". 2004 marks the beginning of Grammy's alliance with strategic partners, including Deetalk Co., Ltd. (TV program producer), Siam Infinit Co., Ltd.

(Game online), GMM Tai Hub Co., Ltd. (Featured film producer) and Ninja Returns Communication Co., Ltd. (Event organizer).

2005
April
- Expanded business line into event marketing business with 50% investment in Index
Event Agency Plc. through subsidiary, GMM Media Plc. for a fully integrated media business.
GMM Grammy was voted Thailand's Best Small Cap and was second to "Best Commitment to u Dividend Payments"; by Finance Asia Polls.
June
- Investment in Se-education Plc. to develop business cooperations such as distribution channel.
July
- Joinly invested in Clean karaoke ., operating in karaoke business together with the managing of karaoke equipment , through 80 % holding in capital of Baht 20 million.

- Through our Subsidiary, GMM Media Plc., We invested in newspaper business through Matichon Plc. 20% and Post Publishing Plc. 23.6%

GMM Grammy Jointly invested 51% in capital of Baht 40 million in GMM Fitness Club Co.,Ltd.to provide fitness club serviced.
2007
Investment in 3-RD Co., Ltd., through 50 % holding in capital of Baht 2.63 million. Through our Subsidiary, GMM Media Plc., Investment in Channel V Music Thailand Co., Ltd., through 25 % holding in capital of Baht 16.25 million.
2008
GMM Media Public Co., Ltd. voluntarily delisted from the SET
2009
Invested in common stock of Family Know How Co.,Ltd., 50% of Baht 50 million capital.The company operates "Money Channel" satellite TV station, specializing in economic, finance and investment
2010
Grammy jointly invested with our Associate (Scenario Co., Ltd.) in common share of Acts Studio Co., Ltd. for construction of the huge studio production; 50% of Baht 200 million registered capital.

Grammy jointly invested in common share of Lucks Satellite Co., Ltd. Produce the content for broadcasting via satellite channel; 25% of Baht 20 million registered capital.
2011
Entered into a joint venture agreement with CJ O Shopping Co.,Ltd., Korea No.1 Home Shopping Operator, to launch Home Shopping business with a registered capital of Baht 540 million. (GMM Grammy holds 51% of the joint venture.)
2012
March
GMM Z Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of GMM Grammy, invested in GMM B Co., Ltd. which was established on March 5, 2013 to operate Pay TV business.
June
Launch of Home Shopping Business via satellite television channels as the name “GCJ O Shopping” which is available on Channel 0 of GMM Z platform, satellite TV and cable TV nationwide.
2013
February
- Official launch of satellite television services subscription for members to choose programs via satellite television channels through subscription by a prepaid card under 4 packages, namely, monthly entertainment channel package, monthly sport channel package, monthly entertainment and sport channel combined package and yearly entertainment and sport channel combined package.
March
- Launch of "Pee Mak…Phra Khanong" movie, which fetched up to 567 million baht in box office revenue, the highest amount in Thai movie history.
July
- Official opening of new service for satellite television subscription under AIS mobile telephone system named "GMM Z on AIS" for customer base expansion.
September
- Capital increase at the ratio of three existing shares to one new share at 10 baht per share, with full subscription of 106,052,989 shares, amounting to 1,060,529,890 baht.

Participating in the auction for the Digital TV licenses.
2014
January
- Won the auction for the licenses of Variety – HD channel and Variety – SD channel.
April
- Started trial broadcast 2 digital TV channels.
July
- The Company signed a merger agreement with CTH Plc. in order to expand the pay TV business. It acquired 30,000,000 common shares of CTH Public Company Limited (“CTH”) totaling Baht 1,030,000,000. In this regard, the Company settled the acquisition of those shares by the selling of 100% common shares of GMM B Company Limited (“GMM B”) to CTH’s subsidiary named CTH LCO Company Limited (“CTH LCO”). Thus, GMM B ceased to be a subsidiary of the Company since then. The combination of the two firms will enhance performance of marketing, programs, network, and customer base.
- By resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders No. 1/2014, the Company increased its registered capital to maximum 183,631,793 shares with details as follows:
       • The Company alloted and offered maximum 63,631,793 registered shares capital at the price of 13.50 baht per share to the existing shareholders (Rights Offering) according to pro rata basis -10 existing shares per 1 new share. The remaining ordinary shares capital were allotted and offered to the private placement.
       • Maximum 120,000,000 ordinary shares capital were alloted and offered to the private placement.
The objectives of this capital increase, is to support investment plans and to strengthen financial status of the Company which enables sustainable business operation as well as long term benefit to the shareholders.
October
- New ordinary shares were issued to existing shareholders for subscription according to pro rata basis - 10 existing shares per 1 new share, at the price of 13.50 baht per share. The Company received more than 766 million baht from the subscription.
November
- Total 126,878,693 of ordinary shares capital were issued to the private placement for subscription. The offer received attention from investment institutions from within Thailand and abroad including the listed companies and high net worth investors. The shares were oversubscribed at the ratio of more than 1.20x .
2015
January
- Disposed 49.55 million shares of SE-EDUCATION Public Company Limited ("SE ED") at the price of 6.00 baht per share. The net amount received (after deducting related fee, tax etc.) was equal to 297.16 million baht.
February
- The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders No. 1/2015 approved the connected transaction and assets disposal regarding the partial waiver of subscription right to the capital increase of ordinary shares in GMM ONE TV TRADING CO., LTD. to the Group of Mr. Takonkiet Viravan, who is a connected person of the Company. The transaction resulted to the Company's shareholder portion of 51% in GMM ONE TV TRADING CO.,LTD. Moreover, the resolution regarding the disposal of the ordinary shares of ACTS STUDIO CO.,LTD. directly and indirectly held by the Company to GMM ONE TV TRADING CO.,LTD. was also approved.
June
- Disposed total investment of 86,000,000 shares or 50% of paid-up capital in Index Creative Village Public Company Limited at the price of 5.00 baht per share, which is higher than the book value of 3.40 baht per share as of December 31st, 2014 amounting to 430 million baht.
August
- Disposed entire investment in its Publishing Group at the value of 45 million baht, which is higher than the book value as of March 31st, 2015 at 28.89 million baht.
December
- Shut down the operation of GMM Tai Hub Company Limited (GTH) from December 31st, 2015 onward. The Company will manage all the rights for movies produced by GTH until the official rights management person is announced later on. All projects currently in production shall be continued and completed.
- Established subsidiary named "GDH 559 Company Limited" (GDH 559) which concentrates on movie production and distribution, media advertisement, and artist management. GDH 559 currently has 5 million baht in paidup capital and the Company holds 51% stake.
2016

January
- GDH 559 Company Limited (GDH 559), a subsidiary of the Company has increased paid-up capital to 150 million baht.
February
- Z PAY TV service operated and owned by CTH group was discontinued, but such Pay TV service was no longer related to the Company after the divestment in 2014. At present, GMM Z actively manages satellite TV platform business providing free to air programs in both C-Band and KU-Band systems for the audiences.
June
- GMM Bravo, the new business unit was formed as a content creator providing “New Content Solution” by transforming GMM massive library including music and artists and developed into exclusive contents both TV series and variety shows across multiple platforms, with unique creativity under the supervision of Ekachai Uekrongtham, the famous film director and producer,
October
- The National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has advised television and radio stations to follow its guidelines following the death of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The operators shall refrain from hosting entertaining programs for a period of 30 days between 13 October- 14 November 2016, followed by a schedule plan continued for 100 days until 21 January 2017 taking into consideration the suitability in accordance with public sentiments. In compliance to the circumstances, the Company had set the schedule for special programs and released new contents as an expression of condolences during the mourning period, including “Born in the Reign of King Rama IX the Series”, “Sadudee Keeta Racha”, while broadcasting of commercial advertisements and selective programs were postponed under deep scrutiny.
November
- The company entered into the Agreement of Sale and Purchase of Shares in One Enterprise (the “Share Sale and Purchase Agreement”) by virtue of Board of Directors Meeting No. 10/2016 convened on 25 November 2016. One Enterprise shall convene its shareholders meeting in order to increase its registered capital by 1,905,000,000 by issuing 19,050,000 newly-issued shares at the par value of THB 100 per share. The newly-issued shares will be offered to Prananporn Co., Ltd. (“Prananporn”) which will become a shareholder of One Enterprise after One Enterprise increases its registered capital. When combining the increase with the existing registered capital of THB 1,905,000,000, One Enterprise’s registered capital will be a total of THB 3,810,000,000.
- One Enterprise will divide the capital increase into two stages. After the completion of both capital increases, the Company will hold 25.50 percent, Mr. Takonkiet’s Group would hold 24.50 percent, and Prananporn would hold 50 percent of the shares in the One Enterprise.
- The Company has duly entered into an agreement directly with UNION DES ASSOCIATIONS EUROPEENNES DE FOOTBALL (“EUFA”) in order for the Company to obtain the broadcasting rights of the European Qualifiers-Qualification Competitions for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. In addition, the Company has entered into a memorandum of agreement with Bangkok Entertainment Co., Ltd., and BEC Multimedia Co., Ltd. (collectively “BEC”) to grant the broadcasting rights of the European Qualifiers-Qualification Competitions for the 2018 FIFA World Cup to BEC for airing via BEC’s channels.
December
- The chief of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) exercised Section 44 of the interim constitution by issuing Order 76/2016 to relieve the burden for digital TV operators by granting an extension of the deadline to make license payments from 3 years to 6 years with interest rate charged based on MLR by Bank of Thailand. Also the NBTC and the broadcasting development research fund administrative committee would subsidize the satellite uplink costs for all digital TV stations under the must carry rules for the next three years.
- In addition, NCPO’s order also grants authority to NBTC to revoke the radio frequency licenses totaling 537 channels from government agencies and state enterprises within 5 years instead of the old one which NBTC has to revoke the licenses in April 2017.
